"Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought."
~Saint John Paul II
Saint John Paul II Parish was formed in the combining of the deep roots of faith established over a century ago by the hands of those who labored to build the former St. Cecilia and St. Leo the Great Church communities. We continue their witness of faith to the Darlington are of Pawtucket and beyond, as we draw strength from our now patron saint who reminds us to be not afraid to put our faith in Christ and His Church. We strive to grow this community and out personal holiness through the Word, Sacraments, Service, and Servitude to God in all things and at all times. We pray that our efforts will blossom with an outpouring of Love that will be seen and felt by all who come in contact with our Church family and any of its members.
We Open Wide Our Doors and Welcome All Who Desire to Grow in Faith to Come and Join Us!
