After much discussion we have decided to join the growing number of parishes in our area to launch a new Faith Formation program at our parish. This program is one which brings the whole family together to learn side by side and allow opportunities to support parents in their great vocation of witnessing the teachings of the faith to their children. Classes will be monthly and will take the place of the previous weekly meetings. for more information, click on the title.
Please join us for the Life in the Spirit Seminar led by Don and Pat Turbitt, assisted by Paul and Monique Marcotte. This will be held at St. John Paul II Parish/St. Cecilia Church on the following Fridays September 22 (Life in the Spirit - Explanation); September 29 (Salvation); October 6 (The New Life); October 13 (Receiving God's Gift); October 20 (Pray for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit); and October 27 (Growth) at 6:00 PM. Palm and Wooden crosses will be available for purchase after all masses this weekend, April 1 & 2. Palm crosses are $15.00 each and the wooden crosses will be marked with their price (prices range $8 to $20). All items can be blessed. What a wonderful Easter present for parents and grandparents!

Our parish Boy Scout Troop #18 is collecting Christmas ornaments to be used on next year’s Christmas wreaths. A bin will be placed at the main door of the church for any donations or returns removed from this year’s wreaths. So as you are putting away your Christmas decorations, please think of our parish Boy Scout Troop. Thank you for any donations in advance.

If you took an angel off of the Giving Tree, all wrapped (or gift bagged) gifts are due back to church this Sunday, December 11. Please make sure to attach your gift tag to the wrapping.
The Knights of Columbus Council 12631 will be hosting Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 18, 2022, 8 AM to 12 PM. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under, children 5 and under are free and a Family ticket (Max 2 adults with children) is $30.00. Tickets will be sold after all masses or by calling the parish offices at 401-722-1220 x2. Entries into the Keep Christ in Christmas Contest will be on display. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is on Thursday, December 8th. Holy Day masses will be held on Thursday, December 8th at 8:30 AM and at 6:30 PM. Please join us for this very special celebration! (There is no Vigil Mass on December 7th)

Pre-Orders for whole meat pies from the St. John Paul II Parish Christmas Bazaar are due by October 28, 2022. Order forms can be found in the catalog or on our parish website or you can email your order to [email protected]. Drop completed order forms in the collection basket, mail to the office, drop in the mailbox on the front of the school.
