Please do not drop donations at the church office going forward. Our Rectory is filled with our hard-working staff. Donations will need to be dropped, collected, and stored a little differently. First, we are hosting 2 dropoff days on August 25th and November 3rd from 1-3pm. Volunteers will be at St. Cecilia’s garage (in the parking lot on Norfolk Ave.) to accept donations for the Bazaar – bring us new and gently used items, books, liquor, and tools! Please hold live plants until November. We will be able to assist in unloading as well. If those dates don’t work or you require a pick up, call Matthew and Amanda Turner at 401-726-7197.
The CHRISTMAS BAZAAR is Friday November 16th from 9am-8pm & Saturday November 17th from 9am-4pm… Here are ways to ensure our success: ATTEND the meetings or just volunteer during the setup week &/or at the Bazaar. The more the merrier and we are growing! The next meeting is on September 7th at 7pm in the Rectory. New Items needed: LIQUOR for the Liquor Table CRAFT STORE gift cards would be greatly appreciated by our crafters. Did you know: that the entire area is funded completely by the craft committee and donation? Thank you! ANYTHING ELSE for the Penny Social, we will make everything work! Used items needed: TOOLS for the tools table. BOOKS, especially romance and children’s books, are in demand. PLANTS, POTS, & SOIL are also welcomed closer to the Bazaar, so split them now! EVERYTHING ELSE gently used is for the Pick-A-Paper. Did you know: with St. Vincent de Paul running this table they’ve been able to use some household supply donations for their ministry as well? Our parish is a blessing! The major RAFFLE tickets will be going out in September. Don’t forget to buy your tickets, but also sell them to everyone else – the grand prize is %5,000! Please remember that a child cannot win a raffle. GOT BAZAAR DONATIONS? **NEW POLICY** Please do not drop donations at the church office going forward.
